The [[German Kubb Masters]] have been held annually since then. In the [[Niederlande|Netherlands]] the [[Dutch Open]] have been held once a year since 2002. The first [[Swisskubb Challenge]] Kubbturnier in [[Schweiz|Switzerland]] was held on May 29, 2004 in [[Murten]].
Kubb or Viking chess is now played all over the world. The individual portals on kubbwiki.de show where further Kubb strongholds can be found.
