It is not clear whether this picture actually represents a forerunner of Kubbs in ancient Egypt.&lt;br /&gt;
Egyptian murals where the forerunner of Kubb was played. Around 3000 BC, the ancient Egyptians played games that are very similar to Kubb. At that time games were said to have been played which were a mixture of javelin throwing and chess.
